About the Project
This training course is designed to bring together 27 participants from 9 European countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Spain.
This project aims to address the need for more structured and effective project design in youth work. Many projects struggle to achieve their intended outcomes because they lack clear objectives, logical structure and a focus on measurable results.
Empowerment through Knowledge
This training is about more than just learning how to plan projects. It’s about gaining a way of thinking that helps you turn ideas into reality. The same principles that make a strong project -having a clear purpose, planning wisely, and aiming for real impact- can also guide you in many other parts of life and work.
Building Skills
Participants will learn simple but powerful tools to design projects that make sense, create change and last. Methods like Results-Based Management (RBM) and Theory of Change (ToC) are not only useful for project planning -they also help in problem-solving, decision-making and creating a vision for the future.
Project Design reimagined
This course is an invitation to see project design as more than a technical skill. It is a mindset you can use anywhere -whether you’re starting an initiative, leading a team or working toward personal goals. By learning these principles, you don’t just design better projects -you design better paths forward.

Key Concepts *
KNOWLEDGE
Participants will explore key principles like Results-Based Management (RBM), learning to focus on meaningful results rather than just activities. This approach helps create projects with clear goals, measurable outcomes, and real impact— and it can guide thinking in many areas beyond projects.

SOFT SKILLS
Participants will strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and a sense of ownership — skills that support success in projects and in many other areas of life.
HARD SKILLS
Participants will practice designing projects that are clear, structured, and realistic, setting strong objectives, using resources wisely, and aligning actions with desired outcomes. These skills also build the ability to think critically, evaluate progress, and create lasting solutions.

ATTITUDES & BEHAVIOURS
The course fosters a results-focused mindset, a proactive approach to planning and problem-solving, openness to feedback, and a habit of sharing knowledge. These attitudes help participants create meaningful impact wherever they apply them.
